Marroquillos

Fantastic place for Moroccan sandwiches. Very tasty and filling. I also tried the tea, and it was delicious. On a negative note, at first we were about to skip it. The place was quiet, empty, and with the waiters smoking outside, it's a place you don't want to go. Luckily, we went in and ate. Highly recommended.

The service and attention are unbeatable; you feel right at home. The atmosphere is fantastic. And the food is incredible. It's best to come very hungry, because the dishes are tremendous and spiced just right. Something for every palate, but with that unmistakable Moroccan touch. You must try the Moroccan pastries and tea, for a perfect experience. We'll be back.

A very quiet place with exquisite decor. The waitress is charming and explains everything in great detail. The service is extremely fast, and the food is delicious. The dishes are generous. I will definitely return. I'm looking forward to trying the entire menu.

The place was great, as was the service. The tables upstairs were too small for the four of us. But the sandwiches, which is the most important thing, were a 10 for both flavor and quantity, as they were enormous.

We were amazed by the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service. We ordered two sandwiches to go, one with meat and one with chicken, and they were delicious and came with a drink. In my opinion, the size is okay for a normal eater (not too big, not too small). And we loved the assorted pastries, especially the chocolate ones. The atmosphere is very pleasant and pretty. We will definitely be back! ☺️

The decor and ambiance of the place are fantastic, with soft background music accompanying the food. I ordered hummus, Marroquillo Merguez, some potato wedges, and water to accompany it. In addition, the friendly lady who served me gave me some puff pastries and olives as an appetizer. The hummus was delicious and beautifully presented, accompanied by carrot sticks, zucchini, and cherry halves. The Marroquillo was the first time I'd tried something similar, and I was surprised to find I loved it. It was a homemade pancake and fresh ingredients. Perhaps the only thing I wasn't convinced about was the meat sausage, but it was still a solid 9/10. I asked the lady to take the potatoes and hummus with me since I had ordered too much, and she quickly switched them to a container and gave me a bag with them. Finally, the waitress suggested I have some tea, and I accepted. She set up a lovely tray for me and poured the tea herself from a teapot, putting on a little show—fantastic. In short, it's a perfect place. Plus, they have a vegetarian option, so I'll come back another day to try it again.

The hummus...what a delight...they have pastries and cakes for sale...upstairs they have beautiful Moroccan furniture...

Incredible! I went with a friend and we ordered chicken morroquillos with gourmet ciabatta bread and a kefta sandwich with rgaif bread. The portions are generous, and it's been a while since I've had such delicious sandwiches; my favorite, without a doubt, the kefta! To finish, we ordered mint tea, which was delicious and perfect for digestion. The staff was always friendly. Besides the delicious food and excellent service, the place is beautiful, with a decor that's carefully designed down to the smallest detail. It was an experience I'd 100% repeat.

The bread for the sandwiches is delicious and crispy, and they're filled with quality products and full of flavor. Highly recommended. Next time I'll try a different one, accompanied by one of their teas.

I loved it! I'll be back. The sandwiches are huge and super filling. They're worth every cent. I chose the tuna and rice sandwich; it smells more delicious than it tastes good. I'm in love. Plus, you can see the chunks of tuna (I mean, it's the good stuff, not the kind that looks like baby food), and everything else is super finely chopped; you can tell they make it with care. Keep it up, because when I go back to Pontevedra, I'll want more!

The Beyond Meat sandwich and the spiced fries are works of art. Plus, if you're not super hungry, one sandwich for two and the fries are more than enough because it's quite large and very filling. I'm not adding photos because it smelled so delicious that we devoured it before I even thought about it.

Several of us tried different sandwiches and we really liked them. The food is delicious, hearty, and healthy, with good value for money. The sandwiches are huge; a sharing one is a good option if you're not very hungry or eating a little. The food is spicy, but it doesn't feel heavy or repetitive. The ingredients in the sandwiches seem to be of good quality, and despite the abundance and the fact that the food isn't overly elaborate (and it doesn't need to be), you get the feeling that you're eating something lovingly prepared and healthy (not fast food or junk food). The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, which is unusual in the restaurant industry and is greatly appreciated. They deliver what they promise. The place is small, with two floors, but also very pleasant for a cup of tea, a beer, or a soft drink. The hygiene is incredible. Everything is spotless, including the bathrooms (squeaky clean). The waitress is a sweetheart, and the guy (I think he's the cook) is also very nice. I have no complaints. I've only been there once. If I had to say one thing, it's that it's not an everyday meal and that it's simple. I don't see that as a drawback either. We'll probably come back again.
